how behaviour relief consults work

CleverPawz visits your home (or virtual consult) to meet you and your dog, undertake an assessment, educate you on understanding behaviour from the dog’s perspective, and then recommend a personalised plan that you can both work on together to address the behavioural needs.  For busier lifestyles, I can do the training for you!  Training is reward-based positive training (put the link in here).

 

Initial consultation $190 for 1.5 hours plus travel fee.  This includes video follow up of the training, email and attachments summarising the consult.  At the consultation, you will also be provided with a portfolio of information and training tips.

Quick and easy solutions with a professional qualified trainer suitable for owners with busy lifestyles, working pet parents, those that are unable or do not enjoy the training process.  Great also for puppy socialisation especially during the critical socialisation period.

how Day Training works

Typically, it all starts with an initial Behaviour & Training Plan and then a number of sessions determined by the goals of the plan, wrapping up with hand-over sessions to show the client how to proof and maintain the behaviour.  After the designated number of weeks, several follow up sessions are recommended to ensure long term success. Customised programs are available short or long-term:  2, 3, 4 weeks or longer tailored to suit your lifestyle.

CleverPawz is a recommended trainer for mindDog Australia that assists mental health sufferers to train psychiatric assistance dogs.  We work in collaboration with Tricia Robinson who helps to get the program underway and then undertakes the Public Access Tests (PAT).  For further information to discuss your specific needs please get in touch.
